You must contact the KAUST Human Resources Department 45 to 90 days before the date you want to receive your pension payment. You will receive a retirement package containing all forms necessary to request your pension payment.

You must complete and return the election forms at least 30 days before the date you want to retire or your payment may be delayed.

Regardless of whether you are single or married, you will receive a lump-sum payment of your entire Cash Balance Account. Please be sure to complete and return the Termination/Distribution form to provide banking transfer instructions.

If your election forms are received by the last day of the month, you will receive your payment by the end of the following month. Payment will include interest through the end of the month before your requested payment starting date.
