When you reach the fifth anniversary of your plan eligibility, you will be able to withdraw up to 100% of your regular, miscellaneous and rollover accounts. Once this opportunity becomes available, you will only be able to make one such withdrawal. Once your first withdrawal is processed, you are able to request another withdrawal every three years thereafter.

In special cases, access to your university account may be granted by the plan administrator. The plan administrator will review each application for access to your university account and determine each case based on its merit.

If you are invested in Vanguard funds, the trustee will liquidate enough of your investments to meet your request. The processing time for withdrawal may be up to 45 days.

The plan does not allow for participant loans from any of your accounts.
